Your Very Own Kimchi Cup Noodles
As simple as it is in a jar, cooking kimchi noodles can be that easy.
Recipe
1 tsp chicken stock
1 tsp gochujang
½ cups chopped cabbage
½ cups sliced mushrooms
¼ cup chopped kimchi
3 ounces cooked shrimp
½ cups cooked rice noodles
½ sliced radish
1 tsp chopped cilantro
1 slices lime
hot water
Instructions
Step 1
Add chicken stock and gochujang in each of three 1 1/2-pint canning jars. Layer 1/2 cup cabbage, 1/2 cup mushrooms, 1/4 cup kimchi, 3 ounces shrimp and 1/2 cup noodles in each jar. Top each with some radish slices, 1 teaspoon cilantro and 1 lime slice.
Step 2
To prepare one jar of noodles: Add a cup of hot water enough to a jar. Uncover and microwave on "high" in 1-minute increments until steaming hot. Let it stand 5 minutes. Stir before eating.
Special Additions
You may change your choice of meat and add vegetables to enhance the flavour and texture.
Tips
You may place dry ingredients in your cup and pour hot water/ soup into the jar whenever you want to eat for extra convenience.
